During the third month of pregnancy, many expecting mothers experience a range of symptoms and changes as their baby continues to develop. While you may not be able to hold your baby in your arms just yet, there are still things you can do to bond with your little one:

Talk to your baby: Your baby can hear sounds from outside the womb, so talking to them allows them to become familiar with your voice. You can tell them about your day or simply say words of love and encouragement.

Read to your baby: Reading out loud not only helps with bonding, but it also exposes your baby to language and can help stimulate their brain development.

Listen to calming music: Playing soft and soothing music can create a peaceful environment for both you and your baby. Studies have shown that babies can recognize music they were exposed to during pregnancy.

Give yourself some quiet time: Find moments throughout the day to relax and focus on your baby. Close your eyes, take deep breaths, and imagine the precious little one growing and thriving inside you.

Engage in gentle movements: Your baby may be able to feel your movements as they float around in their cozy “oven.” Slow and gentle movements, like rocking in a chair or doing prenatal yoga, can create a soothing sensation for your baby and help strengthen your bond.

Remember, even though you’re not able to physically hold your baby during these early stages of pregnancy, the bond between you and your little one is already forming. The third month is a perfect time to begin nurturing that connection and preparing for the incredible journey ahead.
